Wheatley Rockfest - July 25th - Queen, U2 & Oasis (tributes) + support
Wheatley Hills RUFC have teamed up with www.fakefestivals.co.uk to bring a music festival on the grounds of Wheatley Hills RUFC. The festival is held inside a massive marquee with a licensed bar and food stands. The date of the Rockfest is July 25th and doors open at 1pm. Local support bands are on during the day with the headlining tribute bands on later. Some surprise speacial guests will be attending to mix and mingle with the crowds but you will have to attend to find out exactly who is going to be there. Tickets are now on sale at the Rugby Club at a very special early bird saving price of only £12.50 for an over 18 ticket (£10 for 7-17 yrs) up till June 25th then they go up to £15 (over 18) & £12 (7-17yrs).
The date is part of the Fake Festivals 2009 Tour which is the only touring music festival of it's kind. The Rockfest at the club is to raise money for the Rugby Club so your support is needed, please tell all your friends and family about the event and let's try and sell out!
