There is something on almost every weeknight, whether you want a steady social run, a session to sharpen your speed, a walk with good company, or a full-body workout without the running.
Every session starts and finishes at the rugby clubhouse, where there is parking, changing rooms and a warm bar afterwards. You never need to book — just arrive 10 minutes early, say hello, and one of the leaders will point you to the right group.

Club run
Our flagship night and the best place to start. We split into six groups covering everything from a gentle run-walk to faster longer routes, so nobody is ever left behind and no group runs alone.
- Six pace groups, typically 3k to 10k
- Each group has its own leader and back marker
- Routes vary week to week around the local area
- Perfect first session if you are new to the club

Interval training
Short, structured efforts with recovery in between — the quickest way to build speed and strength. Everyone works to their own effort level, so the group finishes together whatever your pace.
- Warm-up, main set and cool-down led throughout
- Efforts scaled to your own ability, never a race
- Great for anyone chasing a parkrun or race PB
- Around 45–60 minutes in total

5k walking group
A friendly 5k walk at a comfortable, chatty pace. Ideal if you are easing back after injury, building fitness before you start running, or simply prefer to walk.
- Steady 5k on mainly flat, familiar routes
- No pace pressure — the group stays together
- A relaxed way to meet people at the club
- Walkers of every age and ability welcome
Wednesday · 6.00pm
Hill training
Repeats on a local hill to build leg strength and running economy. You choose how hard you push and how many reps you take on, with an easy jog back down between each effort.
- Hill reps with full recovery between efforts
- Take on as many or as few reps as you like
- Builds strength for hilly races and trails
- Warm-up and cool-down run included

Bootcamp circuits
A non-running strength and conditioning circuit at the club. Bodyweight stations with timed rounds, every exercise offered with an easier and a harder option.
- Full-body circuit — core, legs and mobility
- Every move has a scaled option
- Great cross-training to keep you injury free
- No running required, no kit needed beyond trainers
